Sadhna Path farm is also home to Shree Gopal Krishna Van Gaushala which hosts around 50
abandoned cows of Indian breed. We also try to save and serve accidental cows from the
highway where cow accidents have become a common sight almost everyday.
Over years ,we have seen cows die on highways and villages due to the neglect of human
beings. We’ve seen cows eat plastic and then kilos of plastic coming out of their bodies when
they die. We’ve seen them stuck in the fencing when they wander in search of water and food
from one farm to another as we’ve taken away the forest and the Gau-char bhumi which was
their right.
Gaushala….for us is not a service… not a religion… It’s just our Kartavya , it’s just a penance…
We are all aware about it.
‘Shree Gopal Krishna Gaushala’ which runs with the help of the local community here and with
the blessings of Swami Nityananda Giri ji Maharaj who is a Sanyasi from Kailash Ashram
Rishikesh and has been blessed with Satsang from Shree Ramsukhdas Ji Maharaj for over a
decade. It’s a registered society.
Around 50 cows right now wander freely amidst a wonderful bamboo grove ….no ropes…no
milking.
We know that what we are doing is not enough and not good enough. Yet we try to do what we
can and keep improving. Thanks to support we receive from so many friends and supporters ,
most of our work at Gaushala runs smoothly. Yet, a work this like this is always in need for more

साधना पथ फार्म में श्री गोपाल कृष्ण वन गौशाला भी शामिल है, जहाँ भारतीय नस्ल की लगभग 50 बेसहारा गायें रहती हैं। हम राजमार्गों पर दुर्घटनाग्रस्त होने वाली गायों को बचाने और उनकी सेवा करने का भी प्रयास करते हैं, जहाँ गायों की दुर्घटनाएं लगभग रोजमर्रा की बात हो गई हैं।
वर्षों से, हमने इंसानों की उपेक्षा के कारण गायों को राजमार्गों और गांवों में मरते देखा है। हमने देखा है कि गायें प्लास्टिक खाती हैं और मरने के बाद उनके शरीर से किलो प्लास्टिक निकलता है। हमने उन्हें बाड़ में फंसा हुआ देखा है, जब वे पानी और भोजन की तलाश में एक खेत से दूसरे खेत में भटकती हैं, क्योंकि हमने उनसे जंगल और गौ-चर भूमि छीन ली है जो उनका अधिकार थी।
गौशाला… हमारे लिए कोई सेवा नहीं है… कोई धर्म नहीं है… यह सिर्फ हमारा कर्तव्य है, यह सिर्फ एक तपस्या है… हम सभी इसके बारे में जागरूक हैं।
‘श्री गोपाल कृष्ण गौशाला’ जो यहाँ स्थानीय समुदाय की मदद से और स्वामी नित्यानंद गिरि जी महाराज के आशीर्वाद से चलती है, जो कैलाश आश्रम ऋषिकेश के एक संन्यासी हैं और जिन्हें एक दशक से अधिक समय तक श्री रामसुखदास जी महाराज का सत्संग प्राप्त हुआ है। यह एक पंजीकृत सोसाइटी है।
अभी लगभग 50 गायें बांस के एक अद्भुत उपवन के बीच स्वतंत्र रूप से घूमती हैं… कोई रस्सी नहीं… कोई दूध दुहना नहीं।
